Of Buffalo, New York entered into rest on Monday, April 20, 2026 after a brief illness that took everyone by surprise. This is a loss that will not be forgotten. Thomas leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Sheldon Johnson (Dawn Johnson), and Nicholas Jones; three grandchildren, Sheldon Jr., Shacole, Shamya, one great-granddaughter, Carman. One sibling, Marion Riddick Fletcher, his best friend Isaac (Ikey) Burns, Lynn Tolbert, and a host of loving nieces, nephews' family and friends. Thomas Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. Jones, Sr. and Lizzie Sharp Jones, siblings; late Louise Petty, late Jonathan R. Jones, late, Leola Jones (Chestnut) Truesdale, late Willie Lee Jones, and late Lizzie Mae Jones (Romer) Green. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (4614 Main St.) near Harlem Rd. on Thursday, April 30 from 10-11AM where a Homegoing Service will take place at 11 o'clock. Interment Pine Lawn Cemetery.
