Thomas Aquinas Menard

Born February 4, 1947 and entered into rest July 7, 2025. Beloved husband of Ana A. (nee Suarez) Menard; devoted father of Peter (Kimberly) Menard, Miguel (Colleen) Menard, Frank (Serendy) Menard and Elizabeth (Brendan) Villagomez; cherished grandfather of Matthew, Angelica, Tyler, Isabel, Cristian, Juliette, Josiah, Madelyn, Sophia, Nicholas and the late Gregory; loving son of the late Edward and Ellen (nee Martin) Menard; dear brother of 8 siblings; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a US Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War from 1967-1969. He was a devoted Catholic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, and watching Notre Dame and the Yankees with friends at the local bars.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa Church, 1974 Seneca St., South Buffalo, NY 14210 on Friday (July 11) at 11:30AM. Please assemble at Church. An interment with military honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’ name to St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, 3021 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10468.
