Obituary

Robinson Jr. , Thomas L. of West Seneca, entered into rest on September 28, 2026. Devoted father of David (Mari) Robinson and the late Mark Robinson; cherished grandfather of Stephen (Shenelle) Callari, Caleb (Vanessa) Callari, the late Brittany (Carl Healy) Robinson and 8 great grandchildren; loving son of the late Thomas L. Robinson, Sr. and Dorothy (Gilmartin) Robinson; dear brother of Richard Robinson, Ed (Sue) Robinson and predeceased by 8 siblings; cherished longtime friend of Judy Garrison; also loved by many nieces and nephews. Tom was a 1955 Graduate of Lackawanna High School, where he then began his steel industry career that spanned over the next 59 years, which started at Bethlehem Steel Corp. After working as a District manager for 42 years at Universal Refractories, Inc. in Wampum, PA he began his retirement in 2014. Tom was a longtime season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills. He was a founding member of the Steel City Conservation Club that formed in 1960. He served as the treasurer of his hunting club, was a member of the Lackawanna Crown Club and a longtime supporter of Lackawanna Little Loop, long after his sons had completed their time playing football. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMABRDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Friday (October 9) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Saturday (October 10) at 10 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Society or the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY.
