Tyrone D 'Ty' Luna

LUNA - Tyrone D. Ty Entered into rest November 5, 2021. Beloved companion of Deborah M. Smith; devoted father of David L. Luna and Christine C. (Walter) Mazgaj; adored grandfather of Ashley (Andrew McGinnis) Luna and Gavin Mazgaj; cherished great-grandfather of Ashlyn and Abel McGinnis; loving son of the late Frank and Eadie Luna; dear brother of the late Frank Lucky Luna. Ty was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during the Vietnam War and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a retiree of American Brass with over 37 years of service. Ty was also the past President of the Winchester Rifle and Gun Club and was an avid Bills fan. He will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Synder Chapel), 4614 Main St. near Harlem Rd., on Tuesday from 4-8 PM with a Prayer Service immediately to follow. A Committal Service and Military Honors will take place Wednesday morning at 11 oclock at the Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd. Corfu, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buffalo City Mission or the Hawk Creek Wildlife Center.
