BALBIERZ, Vanida Maria (nee Calato) Of Amherst, entered into rest on August 29, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Daniel P. Balbierz; devoted mother of Theodore D. Balbierz (Lisa), John P. Balbierz (Kerry), and Diana M. Simonson; cherished grandmother of Thomas Balbierz, Lauren Balbierz, Trevor Balbierz, Adam Simonson, Julia Simonson, Daniel Balbierz, and Drew Balbierz; loving daughter of the late Mary M. (nee Piccillo) and Theodore T. Calato; also survived by many cousins. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Tuesday Sept. 5th from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, Sept. 6th in St. John the Baptist RC Chapel, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Interment Mt.
