Oakes, Venita R. (nee Rogers), of Buffalo, entered into rest November 21, 2021. Devoted mother of Antjuan M. and Ahnree R. (Jennifer) Oakes and the late Baby Boy Rashea. Adored grandmother of Daevion, Caevon, Amir, Amiyah, Amaja, Alivia and Ahnree Jr. Loving daughter of Cornelia (nee Currie) and the late Benjamin T. Rogers. Dear sister of Margaret (Andre Stephan) Rogers, Benjamin Rogers Jr. and the late Diane (late Cavin) Owens. Venita is also survived by many loving relatives and dear friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Saturday (November 27th) from 11 AM 12 PM with a Funeral Service immediately to follow.
