LIBERATORE Sr., Victor “Vittorio” of Buffalo, entered into rest February 11, 2025. Beloved husband of Natalina “Lena” (nee Vecchio) Liberatore; devoted father of Victor (Kimberly MacDonald) Liberatore Jr., Margaret Anne Bueme, Michelle (Sam Bova) Liberatore, and father-in-law of Steven Bueme; cherished grandfather of Natasha (Andrew) Monaco, Stephano (Chelsea) Bueme, Angelina (Adam) Mendes, Delaney (Jason Chiodo) Liberatore, Michael Liberatore, Vittorio (Mariah Barry) Bueme, and Jonathan (Alexis Ruggiero) Liberatore; adored great-grandfather of Charlie Lane Mendes, Kieran Michael Mendes, and Iver William Bueme; loving son of the late Attilio and Domenica (nee Giardina) Liberatore and son-in-law of the late Margaret (late James) Talarico and the late Angelo Vecchio; dear brother of Peter (Joy and late Mary) Liberatore and the late Erminio (late Mary) Liberatore; also survived by many, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (February 17th) from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernadette Church, 5930 South Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Victor was a United States Army Veteran. The Liberatore family would like to extend a special thank you to Fr. Joe Wolf, Fr. Paul Seil, Fr. Art Mattulke, the late Msgr. Nugent, and all the special people who helped on the journey with Victor’s illness including Gary and Pearl O’Boyle, James F. Gombos Jr., Diane Buonamici, Kelli Regan, and the Nurses and Aides at Terrace View Nursing Home and Peregrine Senior Living Orchard Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Victor’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Oishei Children’s Hospital.
