Victoria Linda Cheatham

September 22, 1958 — October 16, 2022

On October 16th, 2022 at the break of dawn, the lord called her from labor to rest. Victoria Linda Cheatham, was born from the union of Maurice and Norma Cotton on September 22, 1958 in Buffalo, NY. Vicky graduated from Kensington High School in Buffalo, NY, and attended The Sawyer Business Schol where she excelled in speed typing. She worked for Ethox Corporation, ECMC, St. Luke's Nursing Home, A Touch of Class, Fosters Lounge and various other companies and corporations. Vicky was an entertainer, and a comedian who was fun loving, affectionate and down to earth. She was also multi-talented and could master anything. Victoria was best known to her friends and family as Big Vick, Vicky, Tory and Toy. She adored music, parties, making people laugh and performing her favorite dance move called the bus stop. Vicky loved shopping for clothes and shoes, always elaborate and immaculate from head to toe. Her favorite hobbies consisted of nail care and dyeing her hair weekly. She loved creating and mixing different types of fermented drinks so much that bartending was always her side hustle. Hot chicken wings and spaghetti salad were two of her favorite dishes to make. She was preceded in death by her son, Peter Jacobs JR., her parents Maurice and Norma Cotton, brother Daryl Cotton and nephew Dominique Cotton. Victoria leaves to cherish her memory to her loving daughter Lakesha (Tim) Dillard, her two grand-daughters Infiniti Gleen and Tatiana Jacobs. Her brother Maurice Cotton JR and three sisters Darlene Turnage, Mary McMicken's from Buffalo, NY and Gwendolyn Goodman, and nieces Latoya & Paris Goodman of Atlanta, GA and a very special goddaughter Unique Stevens. God-grandkids Niquan, Charlii, Noah and Naveen Stevens, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends. Relatives and Friends are invited for a visitation at True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 East Ferry St. Buffalo, on Thursday October 27th from 10-11am....Where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. Service will end in cremation.
