Vincent P. Ferraro

FERRARO - Vincent Patrick Our beloved brother, son and uncle, passed away peacefully,but suddenly on August 25 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Williamsville, NY. He died from complications due to COVID-19 and Rhabdomyolysis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen Angelo Ferraro and Anne Leies Ferraro; his sister, Valerie Nixon; and niece, Danita Herrera. Vincent is survived by six siblings and their spouses, Judith (Gabriel) Marcella, Geraldine (late Daniel) Kelly, Charles (Barbara) Ferraro, Francis (Ginnie) Ferraro, Donna (Joseph) Swierczewski and Richard (Dr. Anna Choi) Ferraro. Vincent was born in Buffalo, NY and spent most of life living in Eggertsville, NY. He graduated from St. Benedicts Elementary School and Canisius High School. He received a B.S. from Canisius College in Economics and majored in Management Engineering Technology at Erie County Community College. Vincent was deeply loved by his family which assisted him with mental health issues. He was especially close to his mother whom he assisted until her death in 2003. He particularly valued the aid he received from David Perello, his care giver for nearly 20 years. The special joys in Vincents live were his summers spent with his family at Silver Bay, Ontario and the trips he made to Los Angeles, CA and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to visit his brothers. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), Amherst, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Benedicts Church, Eggertsville, NY on October 5, 2022 at 9 AM. Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery, next to his parents.
