HERR - Vincent D., II Former Buffalo resident entered into rest in the Lords presence November 25, 2022. Beloved husband of 56 years to Rosario "Rose" (nee Bosque) Herr; devoted father of Scott (Lynne) Herr and Edward Hill; cherished grandfather of Noah Herr and Haley Hill; loving son of the late Vincent and Dorothy Herr; dear brother of Ellen (James) Harrity, Guy (JoAnn) Herr, Nelson (Beverly) Herr, Bonita (Bill) Castleberry, and the late Donald (late Nancy) Herr; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Memorial Service will take place in Batavia Assembly of God Church, 24 N Spruce St., Batavia on Monday morning at 10 oclock (please assemble at Church). Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Monday from 3-7 PM, where final good byes and closing prayers will take place Tuesday morning at 9 oclock. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Vincent grew up in South Buffalo where he attended Bishop Timon and South Park High Schools. He served 4 years with the United States Navy. Vincent retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester as a millwright welder. Vincent attended the Batavia Assembly of God Church for 33 plus years. He loved to deer hunt and fish. In his later years, he could be found in the woods cutting down trees and splitting them for firewood while his beagle Honey followed him. Your browser does not support this video format.
