MENDOLA - Vincent J., Jr. Vinnie Of West Seneca, NY, entered into rest April 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (nee Bailey) Mendola; devoted father of Michael (Linda) Mendola; cherished grandfather of Michael Vincent, Jack and Katherine; loving son of the late Vincent J., Sr. and Lilly Mendola; dear brother of Salvatore Sam (Patsy) Mendola, late Phyllis (Ciro) Rubino and the late Marie Mendola; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Rd., on Friday at 10:00 AM, please assemble at church. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Vinnie was blessed with many lifelong friends from the West Side, the Buffalo Regals, the GEMS Social Club, and the Chudy Paper Company. He was never without his phone so he could always speak to friends and family whenever he wanted, which was often, for a quick laugh or discuss the events of the day. Vinnie enjoyed meeting new people, and making new friends throughout his life. He will be missed by many. Flowers gratefully declined.
