Vincent C. Scamacca

SCAMACCA - Vincent C. Of Tonawanda, entered into rest after a lengthy illness on March 23, 2020 at the grand old age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Pasternak) Scamacca; devoted father of Jaime (Jeffery) Schnabel, Frances (David Hurst) Scamacca, Deborah Helms and Vincent (Jennifer) Scamacca; cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Francesco Frank and Gaetana Ida Scamacca; dear brother of eight siblings; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Scamacca was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He taught at Lafayette High School for more than 30 years as an Industrial Arts teacher, where he also coached both swimming and cross country. Mr. Scamaccas family would like to express their gratitude to all the caregivers and special people in his life that gave their time, love and care during his last journey on earth. A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced.
