Of Amherst, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on March 20, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Deinzer; Devoted mother of Regina (Arthur) Lauer, Rosanne (Patrick) Kilcullen, Marlene Beddome, and Thomas (Lisa) Deinzer; Cherished grandmother of Conrad (Lauren) Lauer, Jessica (Nathan) Cain, Morgan (Erik) Tehari, Claire (Owen) Williams, Sean (Rachel) Kilcullen, Matthew (Fiance Keeley Jordan) Lauer, Robert (Fiance Emma Wiley), Luke Deinzer, William Deinzer, and Jacob Beddome; Adored great-grandmother of Gerard, Kolbe, Gemma, Eloise, Arthur, and Charlotte; Loving daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Gottstein and pre-deceased by six brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces, and nephews, family and friends.
Virginia lived a life rooted in faith, service, and joy. A devoted member of the Sultanas and the Rosary Altar Society, she was a faithful presence at St. Benedict's, where her deep devotion to the Blessed Mother guided her daily life. Her family was always at the center of her thoughts. She cared deeply for her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren, asking about each of them-even in her final days-with genuine interest and love. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished will remain a lasting gift. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, joy, and strength-one that will continue to shape the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, 1317 Eggert Rd., Amherst, NY 14226 on Thursday March 26, at 9:30 AM. Inurnment Acacia Park Cemetery 3PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Brothers of Mercy, or Sisters of Charity Hospital.
