DiVITO - Vito A., Jr. "Tony" Of Lackawanna, entered into rest January 7, 2016. Beloved husband of 61 years to Shirley A. (nee Heerdt) DiVito; devoted father of Thomas (Patricia) DiVito and Donald DiVito; most wonderful grandpa of Thomas II, Matthew and Ashley (Marc) Barends; loving son of the late Vito A. and Mary DiVito Sr.; dear brother of Donna (late Dale) Manfredo and the late John Anthony, Jennie (late Joseph) Picillo, Grace Dublino, Delores (Frank) Zanghi and Nancy (Frank) Cristofanilli; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Sunday from 4-9 PM where prayers will be said on Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site) at 11:30 o'clock. Mr. DiVito worked for Niagara Mohawk for 39 years and was an Army veteran of WW II and the Korean War.
