Warren G. Derner

Of Buffalo, entered into rest August 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Ehrmann; devoted father of Lisa (Lem R.) Mogavero and Courtney (Lem M.) Mogavero; cherished "Dah" of Taryn (Peter) Gottfried, Zack, Talia, Myles and Mila; also survived by extended family, friends and fur babies. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Warrens loving partner and companion, Susan Krebs. You filled a hole in our family that we didnt know existed. Warren became Buffalo PD when he graduated from the academy to Precinct 6 in 1968 and transferred to Precinct 10 on Niagara St. He was a member of the Underwater Recovery Team, Tactical Patrol Unit, and Special Frauds, He retired in 1997 from the Arson squad as a Detective. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and cook. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) on Saturday August 12 from 2:00 6:00 PM.
