BENK - William H. Of Tonawanda, entered into rest May 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Patricia J. (nee Dunmire) and the late Carol A. (nee Hore) Benk; devoted father of Christine (Dana) DiMaggio, Camille (Michael) Freitag, Colleen (Mark) Purcell, Brian (Maggie) Benk, Scott (Kristin) Benk, Candace Long, Jeffrey (Sue)Yensan, Gregg (Joyce) Yensan and the late Caryn (Victor) Grottanelli and Terry Yensan; cherished grandfather of 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; loving son of the late William and Elizabeth Benk; dear brother of the late Robert Middlesteadt, Ruth Miller, Edward Middlesteadt, Marion Parker, Margaret Switzer and Betty Dailous; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan on Sunday from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 73 Adam St., Tonawanda on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. (Please assemble at church).
