William "Bill" D. Marx, Jr.

Age 81, of Amherst, entered into rest on April 8, 2025. Beloved husband of 48.5 years to Mary Ann (nee Wybieracki) Marx; devoted father of Kristen (Michael) Russo and Nicole (Ryan Latham) Marx; loving son of the late William and Rose (nee Danzig) Marx; dear brother Mary (Patrick) Raab and James (Suhki) Marx; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bill served honorably in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He also served with the National Ski Patrol, joining in 1973 and was a proud member of the Holiday Valley Ski Patrol since 1990. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member at St. Aloysius Gonzaga. Even though Bill passed from Parkinson's Disease, he was a very involved advocate and educator to people about the disease. He never let the disease run his life. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Saturday, April 12 from 2-6pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM. A Celebration of his Life will also be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to the Michael J.
