BURNS - William H. Of Tonawanda, NY, entered into rest July 19, 2019. Beloved husband of Delores M. (nee Kaiser) Burns; devoted father of Karen (William Atkinson) Burns, JoAnn (Maxwell Jr.) Fronczak, James Burns, Rhonda (Charles) Sciandra, Richard (Susan) Bainbridge, Cynthia (Steve) Centner, Cheryl (Terry) Vollmer and the late W. Richard Burns; cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; loving son of the late William and Lillian Burns; dear brother of Rose, Pete, Laverne "Skip", Shirley, Lillian "Sugar" and the late Bob, Pat; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery. William served in the United States Army and was a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.
