COLLINS - William J., Jr. Of Amherst, entered into rest on October 16, 2016; beloved husband of Minna B. (nee Montrone) Collins; devoted father of William J. (Linda) Collins III, Mary Ann (Neil) Skrabec, Thomas J. (Linda) Collins, Carol Ann (Thomas) Zmuda, and Michael J. (Suzanne) Collins; cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren; adored great-grandfather of two great-grandchildren; loving son of the late William J., Sr. and Irene Collins; also survived by cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great, 885 Sweethome Rd., Amherst, on Thursday morning at 9:15 o'clock. (Please assemble at church.) Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Collins was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
