Grondahl, William J. June 3, 1942 September 4, 2024 Of Buffalo, entered into rest September 4, 2024. Beloved husband of 59 years to Patricia (nee Doherty) Grondahl; devoted father of Elizabeth Grondahl and Susan (Michael) Przybylak; cherished grandfather of Ryan Dibble, Rachel Dibble (Paul OHara), Evan Przybylak and Samantha Przybylak; loving son of the late William A. and Elsie (nee Peterson) Grondahl; dear brother of Bruce (Rosemarie) Grondahl and the late Elaine "Sally" Harbison; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (September 9) from 4-8PM, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Williams name to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter. Mr. Grondahl was a proud veteran of the US Army 3rd Division.
