William A. Henneberry

HENNEBERRY - William A. Age 95, of South Buffalo, formerly of Sambro, Nova Scotia, entered into rest June 17, 2020. Loving son of the late Capt. William S. and the late Sarah Jane; dearest father of William R. (Elaine) and David J. (Margaret); survived by sister Bertha (late Carroll) Philpitt, Alice (late Bernard) Findley and sister-in-law Jean (late Herbert); predeceased by Mary (Alex) Caine, Ruth (George) Perry, George (Florence), Phyllis (Earl) Horne and Katherine (Milton) Purcell; beloved grandfather of Colleen, Dennis, Jeanmarie, Kara, David II, Renee, Holly, William M., Michael and Eileen; cherished great-grandfather of 17. Bill served with the Nova Scotia Highlanders in WWII. Bill was an avid boater and during the summer months, he could be found at The Small Boat Harbor. During the winter months, he could be found at Bills Boat Works or Daves Service Center. Donations may be made in his name to Hospice Buffalo. No prior visitation. Private service.
