July 7, 1940 to July 9, 2023 Of West Seneca, passed away peacefully surrounded by his 7 children. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Crane) McDonald; loving father of Amy (Kevin) Wallum, Matthew (Karen), Molly (John) Fahy, Jane (late James) Turner, Mariette (Anthony) Scolese, Michael (Valerie) and William; grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 6; predeceased by his father William, mother Marion and brother James; also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. William owned and operated C. John Crane Insurance for many years. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Wednesday (July 12) from 4-7PM. A funeral service will immediately follow.
