Minniefield, William J. Jr. of Norfolk, VA previously of Lackawanna, NY entered into rest on May 18, 2024. Devoted father of Christopher A. Minniefield and William J. Minniefield, III; cherished son of William J. Sr and Jane Minniefield and the late Lolita Baker; dear brother of Ramona (Lloyd) Ervin, Jacob (Angela) Minniefield and Rachel (Mark) Ersing; loving uncle of Mia, Jacob II, Naomi, Marina, Catalena, Archer and Aurelia. Also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. William was a 20 year US Navy Veteran. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday (August 8th) from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service and military honors will be held at the WNY National Cemetery on Friday (August 9th) at 10 AM. Please assemble at the cemetery.
