NELSON - William J., Sr. Of Blasdell, entered into rest March 20, 2016, beloved husband of 54 years to Carol L. (nee Beck) Nelson; devoted father of Emma (Lawrence) Carr, William Jr. (Maureen) Nelson, Jeffrey (Tara) Nelson and Donald Nelson; cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Charles and Emma Nelson; dear brother of DeVere "Sonny" (Dorothy) Nelson, Paul (late Martha) Nelson, Della Mae (Clarence) Vance, Charles (Janice) Nelson and the late Barry (Kay) Nelson; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday from 4-8 PM where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Mr. Nelson was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
