Beloved husband of Linda (nee Herbst) Rautenstrauch; devoted father of Michelle Rautenstrauch; cherished papa of Krista; dear brother of Philip (Marianne) Rautenstrauch, Deborah Suzanne (Chester) Ridgeway, Kenneth (Debi) Rautenstrauch, June (George) Sullivan-Selby, Robin Coster, Cheryl Eldridge, and Sharon Donaldson; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Wednesday (September 13th) from 3-7 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. Inurnment WNY National Cemetery. William was a United States Army Veteran. William will be remembered for his love to travel and his summers spent at his home in Sherkston Shores. In lieu, of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care of Buffalo or the Erie County SPCA.
