July 25, 1961-January 26, 2025 SCHAFFSTALL, William of Cheektowaga, entered into rest unexpectedly on January 26, 2025. Beloved companion of Lynn Kelly; devoted father of Christine (Daniel) Bartkowiak, Maria (Sal Falzone) Schaffstall, and Nicholas (Laura) Schaffstall; adored Papa of Nathan, Maxwell, Kaylin, and Isabella; loving son of the late William P. and Virginia Schaffstall; dear brother of Michael (Andria) Schaffstall, Elizabeth Vealey, Christopher (Jennifer) Schaffstall, and the late Catherine Mary Schaffstall; fond brother-in-law of the late Victoria Schaffstall; former spouse of Barbara Schaffstall-Hejna; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (January 31st) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in 14 Holy Helpers Parish, 1345 Indian Church Rd., West Seneca on Saturday morning at 10 oclock. Please assemble at Church. Bill will be remembered by his love of outdoor activities which included golfing, boating, camping, but his most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren.
