William G. Witmer

WITMER - William G., Sr. Of Buffalo, entered into rest March 25, 2023. Devoted father of Susan M. Volk and William G. Witmer, Jr.; cherished grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 11; loving son of the late George and Arlone Witmer; dear brother of James Witmer, Arline (Robert) Salzman, and the late Walter (Sandra) Witmer; also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Friends and relatives may visit Tonawanda Church of Christ, 35 Summit St., Tonawanda, on Friday afternoon from 2-3 PM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. William will always be remembered for being an avid fisherman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Williams honor to Tonawanda Senior Citizens Center, 35 Main St., Tonawanda.
