FELGEMACHER - Wolfgang "Wolf" Of Marilla, NY passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 80. Wolf was predeceased by the love of his life, Valerie Henneberry. He was the youngest of eight children, Hermine (Christa) Mulertt, Willy, Karl Heinz, Annelise Lambach, and late John, Werner and Egon. He will be greatly missed by many including Valeries large family, many nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. He was a proud Opa to both Austin and Ashlyn. He was a role model and inspiration to many. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Saturday (January 21st) from 11-2 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. Wolf was born in Bocholt, Germany where he survived the bombing of his house in WWII. He immigrated to the United States at the age of fifteen and eventually settled in WNY. He was an accomplished athlete in soccer who brought excitement to his family and friends when he tried out for several NFL teams. Wolf was known throughout the community as a friend-to-all, hard worker and for his mastery in brick laying. He was a member of Bricklayers Local-3 NY.
