SCALZI - Carmen F. Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on March 4, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee Massaro) Scalzi; devoted father of Michael (Joanne) Scalzi, Lynn Overbeck, David (Carolyn) Scalzi, and Lynn's twin brother, the late Carmen F. Scalzi, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Serena and Matthew Scalzi, Jeffrey and Jamie Overbeck, and Danya and Joseph Scalzi; great-grandfather of Ella Rose Overbeck and Antonio Ryan Sarratori; loving son of the late Michael and the late Angeline (nee Mazzei) Scalzi; dear brother of Tomasina (late John) Cammarata, Mary (late Peter) Gregorio, Rose (late Joseph) Miliotto, late Helen (late Russell) Zamito, late Russell (late Alice, late Joanne) Scalzi, and the late Phyllis (late Joseph) Puma; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Thursday (March 9th) from 4-8PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning (March 10th) in St. Paul Catholic Church, 33 Victoria Blvd., Kenmore, at 10 o’clock. Please assemble at church.

Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Scalzi was a Korean Veteran, serving his country as a Staff Sergeant in the USMC.

He was a Gold Star Father and will be missed by all who knew him.
