Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Wartinger) Garvasi

Of Tonawanda, entered into rest March 15, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Garvasi; devoted mother of Kathleen (Jeffrey) Small, David Garvasi and step-mother of Janet (late Alan) Muncil; cherished grandmother of Danielle (Bill) Frantz, Jordan Small, Sophia Garvasi and step-grandmother of Rachel Beason and Dan (Josh) Beason; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Wartinger; dear sister of Janice (late Fran) Vallon, Marlene (David) Cichon, Joseph (Elaine) Wartinger and Richard Wartinger; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday (March 21) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Wednesday morning at 9AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
