Obituary:
John Walter Lee Jr.
December 22nd, 1959 - November 15th, 2023
Parents: (Both late) Colonia Barnes and John W. Lee Sr.
Attended: Louis D Banks High school
John spent his life as a professional musician. He played the piano and drums, but his instrument of choice was the bass. His music career started in a band called the "Little Dudes". He traveled all over playing with them in his youth. He was a jack of all trades, but he made a career from building maintenance. He was also the Minister of Music at his church. John will be remembered by most as a man with a great sense of humor. If you had the honor of knowing him, and he loved you, he loved with his whole heart and you became family. He came to Buffalo in his 40's where he met his wife Vanessa. He has spent his life being a loving husband, Father, Papa, and friend since then. He has known love and happiness in his life. Our lives are richer for knowing him.
